Appointment of COVID-19 Marshal to oversee the measures at the construction site New Delhi

As construction work resumes, each construction site in New Delhi will have a COVID-19 marshal to ensure that hygiene measures are properly followed and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in labor protection camps has been provided with sufficient supplies.

As the Ministry of Infrastructure wants to start construction work in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and rural centers in three extended lockdown, the Center has issued guidelines that make it mandatory for every laborer to conduct a health check-up and it is necessary to stay.

Every guideline has been chalked out for every construction site. According to sources, there will be a Nodal Officer or COVID Marshal at each work site who will be in charge for all health, sanitation and hygiene measures.

It will be necessary to tell every worker whether they come in contact with COVID-19 positive case and other health related details.

Then all the workers, including the worker workers, will be left at the work site for a fortnight. No workers will be allowed to leave the labor camp after completing the quarantine.

Soap and sanitizer dispensers will stall at the entry and exit points of the main construction site. The government has banned all tobacco products from work sites.

All workers will be provided with face masks, tissues, goggles and gloves. In charge of the cleanliness and cleanliness of those areas, coveralls will be given. All construction materials entering the site will be left incomplete for three days.

Weekly doctors will visit every construction site. In the event of a laborer developing a cough, cold, or other symptoms, an isolation facility will also be built at the work site.

Best Core Schedule for Lockdown

Lockdown has changed the way we live to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our life has turned about 180-degrees and is no longer the same as it was a few months ago. Staying at home is a blessing and a task for both of them.

We can no longer depend on maids, cooks and other household help to take care of the house; we now need to manage our regular jobs as well as cooking, cleaning, gardening and other household chores. This may seem like too much work at first, but with the right core schedule, you will find life a lot easier.

Divide

The best thing about the lockdown is that everyone is home together. Therefore, you do not have to worry about doing all the chores in your home, you can get everyone in the family to try and help it. You can divide chores based on their age and the amount of time they have left.

Plan right time

It is important to plan your day. If you are working from 9 am to 5 pm, then you need to plan your work before and after it. If your spouse ends at 11 am and works from 8 pm, their working hours will vary, the same goes for children.

Not all cleaning has to be done every day

You can skip some days and do them on alternate days so that you do not have a long list every day. You can do laundry and mopping on alternate days, dusting and sweeping needs to be done daily, watering the plants daily or every other day.

Some work requires group effort

Tasks such as cooking and washing clothes are great for the whole family to do together. While cooking, one bites, one cleans, some prepares, one can set utensils, etc. When it comes to washing clothes, someone can put clothes to wash, someone can dry them, someone can bring them in, and someone can do ironing or folding, and so on.

Create a rotational core calendar

To avoid boredom, it is a good idea to switch things up and give people a chance to do various tasks. In this way, a person is not always stuck with folding cloth or with water plants; they perform different tasks on a daily or weekly basis. It also brings in fairness as no person gets stuck in all the easy or difficult tasks.

Try to reduce the work that needs to be done

If there are not many people around to help, then look for ways to reduce the number of things you have to do. You can plan your meals in advance that way you cook more than before, store it in the fridge and you do not know how to cook for the week. You will have very few dishes for daily washing. You can also pay attention to ways to avoid using unnecessary plates, spoons or other utensils, which way you wash fewer dishes.

Get things done as soon as possible

Schedule tasks so that nothing is pending for a long time. When it comes to dishes, try to wash them as soon as possible, do not let them pile up in the sink. When you are using household items, make sure to place it in the right place as soon as possible. This way your house will look more organized and you will have less work to do at the end of the week.

With all these information, you will be able to create the best core schedule for yourself and your family. You can add and subtract work based on the number of family members, the size of your home and the number of things that need to be done. Remember, be safe and stay at home.

Importance of self-care during lockdown

The COVID-19 epidemic is nothing we are used to dealing with. There is so much fear, uncertainty, stress and more from the rolling lockdown, social distancing, working from home, losing a job, a failing economy that we are all going through.

In times like these, self-care is most important. Self-care can be defined as any activity that we do intentionally to take care of our mental, emotional and physical health. Self-care helps reduce stress, anxiety and illnesses, as well as helps in building better relationships with us and those around us.

Ideas on starting your own self-care routine

The first thing is that everyone's self-care process and routine is unique, there is no one-size-fits-all option that you can blindly follow. Explore as many options as possible and then follow what feels good to you. What you can keep in mind is:

  • Self-care is an active option. You need to make time for this in your schedule and let others know about it if it makes it more real. Pay attention to what you do, why you do it and how it makes you feel.
  •  Try to follow a healthy, balanced diet.
  •  Do things that help you get enough sleep. You need at least 7-8 hours of good, quality sleep each night.
  •  Try to follow a healthy, balanced diet.
  •  Take care of your health, go for regular check-ups, do not self-medicate and ignore the signs that your body sends you.
  •  Learn to relax, meditate, try some relaxation exercises anytime that you find too stressful.
  •  Connect or reconnect with your loved ones, enjoy spending time with them.
  •  Do something every day that relaxes you and improves your mood. This can be anything from gardening to walking, cooking, playing with your pets. Spend at least 30 minutes doing this.
  •  Look for opportunities to laugh, the best way is to arrange a call and talk with your friends and family.
  •  Stress-eat or not eat when you are emotional.
  •  Start a magazine to keep track of your achievements and happiness.
  •  Read or watch something that inspires or excites you.
  •  Try your best to help our struggling community. Contribute time, money, or resources to those suffering around you.
  •  Do something creative, draw, write, paint, play an instrument.
  •  Take a long bath, this will help you relax, and give me some time.
  •  Make your place more your own. Get rid of junk and do not hoard. Surround yourself with things that make you happy and keep you relaxed. Clutter is not well, so do regular cleaning.
  •  From using face packs to body scrubs or massaging your nails, indulge in self-care. Do something that makes you happy and that helps you look and feel better.
  •  This lockdown can mean a lot of things to us, but focus on how we can make the best use of this time. It is important to be happy and stay healthy, so if you never believe in self-care, this is the time to start.
